The perfect CTA doesn't exist: the perfect action does

Post by suhasini523 »

We all know that CTAs are important, that the copy or the color of the CTA itself influences... well, that is something that, at the very least, must be tested.

What is really important here is to define exactly what happens after crossing the CTA or call to action border: where you are going to take the user and what you need them to do there.

And all of this depends, again, on the context in which the lead is (context seems to be everything… and to a large extent it is).

● If you are a B2B SaaS, for example, you can offer a lead magnet to collect information and qualify users who are in the initial stage of the funnel.

● When the lead is closer to purchasing, it may make sense to show them a demo of your product.

● And when they are ready to purchase the product, you can make a sales call and convince them to become a customer.

Remember: the final objective is always the sale, but the process requires adequate timing.

Whatever the case, there must be coherence turkey whatsapp number database between the context of the email, the body of the text, the CTA and what happens on the other side : the landing page, the calendar to schedule the call, the form to enter the phone number and have them call you, or whatever.

All of these elements must lead to the desired action, highlighting the key aspects of the value proposition and carefully adding those extra details that give a little push to conversion, such as urgency, exclusivity or social proof.

In the end, the funnel can be understood metaphorically or literally: you can imagine it as a tunnel that the user enters confidently and, as they advance, they see clear signs that indicate where they should advance and how many meters are left until the final exit.

What if you come across signs in the middle of the tunnel that indicate contradictory directions or actions?

Well, he probably wouldn't get lost, because a tunnel is a tunnel and there always comes a point where you have to leave. But he would feel confused, distrustful and when he left he would probably think something like: but who the hell is in charge of things here?
