10 Rules of Effective Communication
In order to achieve the set goals, it is necessary to follow the rules of effective communication:

Listen first

Active perception involves not only receiving information, but also asking clarifying questions and making an effort to understand the answers without judgment. The ability to listen to others allows you to be aware of the events of their lives, problems and achievements, failures and successes. At the same time, a person understands that his life is important to the interlocutor. This leads to the fact that the listener's opinion is valued above others, since it is based on his own reality.

Show empathy

When listening to someone else's story, it is important to look at the world from the narrator's perspective, to try to understand how they think. Empathy is not only about listening, but also about understanding the thoughts, motives, emotions, and feelings of the interlocutor. This is a fairly complex skill that is worth learning to make communication more effective.
