Hello everyone, in this video we are going to see how to configure a project in the SEO tool of SE Ranking. Once we have logged in, a main panel will open and we will have the option to create the project in this green button and probably the first thing that will be shown to us will be this basic configuration. I recommend starting with the advanced configuration, which you will see is not so advanced. And well, the first thing to put is the URL of the project, which in this case we are going to use the Royal Analytics Agency URL.
And here it gives you the option to choose the type of domain, that is, if we have a domain that also includes a subdomain, then this option would include it or if we want to exclude these subdomains, well, for example, if we have a blog as a subdomain and we want to work on it with a separate project, well, we have the option to include only the domain, which is what we are going to do now, okay?
The same thing happens when assigning groups, if we want to group it into different folders for whatever reasons we need, there is also the option, if we haven't created it we can also create it here on the fly and well this is access to the project which in this case is only me who would be the administrator and here we have the option to activate a web audit, that is to say, to launch a web audit at the moment in which we create the project which we are going to deactivate because it is a project that I have already created and that already has an audit.
And the same applies if we want to configure a weekly report, which we will also disable. All of these settings, as we will see later, can be readjusted, if you will pardon the redundancy, later.
So don't worry if you leave something here that you want to fix later, okay? The next step would be to add search engines, as it gives you several options.

In this case, we are going to add Google and Spain. And that's it, although it also gives you the option of working with local SEO results and the topic of location, postal code, etc.
In this case, the same goes for Google Ads. In this case, we are not going to include any buttons. 1 of the 2, we are going to put only Google and Spain and click next.
The next step would be to add keywords. There is a limit to tracking these keywords, which will depend on the subscription you have.
And we have several options. Either add them manually, well here we are going to select Spain first, or add it manually, well, because we are adding it manually for whatever reason, or we have an option here and that is that SeRanking gives you the option to suggest keywords and we can add them from here, well I don't know, for example, we can add the concept. In the same way that we grouped the projects, we can also do it with the keywords.
We can save them in different folders according to our needs and add them here. As I mentioned, we also have the option to import, either from a web .csv file or even from other tracking tools, such as SEMrush or Moz, for example.
And, well, in this case I'm not going to add any keywords in this section either, because as it is a project that we have already created, we are going to skip this step. Add keywords later, this is what I was telling you, that if we leave something out here now, it doesn't matter because we can add it later.
The same goes for competitors. We can add a maximum of 20 competitors per project, which is a pretty acceptable number, although I understand that this will also depend on the type of subscription you have.
We can add it manually, define if it is a domain, if it is the entire domain including subdomains, if it is a specific PaaS, a specific URL, etc., and even as it happened with the keywords, it gives you the option to suggest competitors and to include them, in this case we are not going to add competitors because we already have them included, some that we have included when we have loaded the project, so we click on next and to finish the connection option. be in analytics tools, such as Search Console, Analytics, Google Analytics, sorry, or Matomo.
As I also mentioned, we have this configured specifically for Google Analytics and Search Console, so we are not going to do anything now.
We would click finish and then the project would load and take us back to the main dashboard page. If we have loaded a large number of keywords it will probably take a while to get all the metrics, but it shouldn't take too long.

What will we find in this general panel? Here we will see a summary of all the projects we have.
Well, look, we're going to have the average position, search visibility, traffic, the percentage that we have in the top 10 and well, an overview of the projects that is also... In addition, it is configurable, that is, we can configure the graph, what the default comparison is, etc. exportable, okay? We'll see that the option to export and configure will be in practically all the reports in all the sections, which is quite interesting.
Just like with keywords or competitors, we have the option to group projects and in this panel we can create specific folders, we can even move them, take them to other folders, etc.
And also, another of the interesting things that we will be able to see in general, in practically all the columns, is that they are editable, that is, we can add or eliminate the columns that interest us.
Well, this would be a summary, as I was saying, of how all the projects are doing, with some specific metrics.
And we are going to move on to, now to see more specifically each of these sections, okay then well we click here and we are going to start with rankings. I have it configured here so that by default every time we go to rankings it goes to the detailed section but as I was saying that everything is configurable, this is what we can change as well and we can put, for example, that the default section, well, if we are more interested in it being a summary, well, let it be a summary.
I have it detailed because I like it better this way, but it will depend on the needs. So, going back to the summary, here we will find a general summary, also configurable and exportable, or even with the possibility of connecting it with Looker Studio.
Well, a summary of the keywords, how they are distributed in the top, some insights on how they work. Keywords that have improved, those that have worsened, summary by group, we can even see traffic forecast, a visibility value.
If we want to see it by group, in this case we have everything in general, that is, we have added a few keywords just to give an example, but we can also put it in a list.
Another summary as well. Also, with the pages, those that have improved, competitors and how they are distributed. These are not just the ones we have added, but they are competitors of the SERP in general, right?

And finally, a section of notes that is very focused on Google Updates. In detail, what we are going to see are the keywords, obviously in much more detail with this distribution of percentages with respect to the top.
Well, that is, there have been changes in positions that we can also see in detail. As I mentioned, again, the export option.
And we also have the option to add keywords, that is, as I was saying, it's not a problem if at some point we have left keywords out, since there will be many opportunities, many options and many sections from which we can add keywords, right? So, well, here we are going to see a series of metrics, as I was saying, a very customizable column, the option to add many filters, to copy the table or to see these keywords in different modes.
The topic of labels is very interesting and I recommend it because it can be used forex leads database lists to categorize and group specific keywords. If we want to group keywords with labels, then those that position for the home page, for the line of business, for the blog, etc.
And it can also be used for another report and other sections that we will see later. Then we also have this general section, which focuses solely on keywords.
Well, it does a somewhat general review, more or less similar to a summary, but it focuses solely on the keywords that we have assigned to the project.
And finally, the historical data, which shows a history of data, which in this case is not very large since the project was added yesterday, the keywords were added yesterday, so it only shows them from yesterday.
As always, configurable columns, here we see for example what I was telling you, that we have the base which is when we load them and the current ranking.
the numbers in green or red regarding the difference in positions. As for analytics and traffic, well, here we have an overview.
What this part does is drink from the reports we have from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
Improve your SEO!
This one, specifically, is in the Google Analytics overview view. And here it will allow us to make a comparison, which we can obviously disable if we want.
And, well, it's going to show some general metrics, like sessions, sessions with interaction, conversions, etc., country of origin of the user, what are the channels, etc., right?
It's like an overview of some metric, in this case, Google Analytics 4. If we go to traffic, here we'll find different tabs, sources, pages, conventions, and each tab will have other subtabs, so to speak, where, again, we'll see metrics in more detail, such as traffic channels, organic traffic, or, well, we can even see audience.
Here you can see in great detail where the audience comes from, device, age or conversions. This can be really useful especially if you are not used to the Google Analytics 4 interface, but you do have to have it well configured, well, maybe here it is a little more visual with these colors or a little more organized. This will also depend on each one. As for the fragments, this section collects the snippets of a specific keyword. For example, we can have this one for agency back to the manager. Well, it gives you this average position and how it is evolving.
Since they were loaded yesterday, well, it's only been there for these 2 days. We see that it has gone up from average position 3 to 2. We have this forecast for traffic, visibility, etc.
And, well, to see a little bit, what keyword specifically and what its snippet is like. And, okay, in terms of Google Search Console data.
Obviously, this is based on Search Console. Here we are going to find the metrics that appear in Google Search Console.
Excel Console and a very interesting option that we have here is the possibility of adding these queries, these Excel Console queries to our Keyword tracker.
For example, let's suppose that we have seen that we are going to sort by click volume, let's suppose that we have agencies back in manager, that are receiving an interesting amount of clicks and for whatever reason we do not have it in the project, then we select it, or we select these three, and we can add this keyword to the project or we add it directly to the general folder because it is the only one we have, or to the general folders that we have created. This section is very interesting because of what I was telling you about the possibility of adding keywords based on these SELConsole queries that for whatever reason we have missed or that we do not have under control.
The last section of analytics and traffic is this one on SEO potential. This is responsible for making a reference on what the value of the SEO efforts we are making is, that is, it is like an estimate of what the return on the work we are doing would be.
