One of the most anticipated Power BI additions for August is the new experience for finding and connecting data in Dataflow, Dataflow Gen 2, and Datamart. Today, users spend a lot of time searching for the right data, connection information, and credentials. With this new Get Data feature, it becomes easier to explore different Fabric artifacts across the OneLake data center. It improves the experience by speeding up this process and helping you find the data you need in the fastest and easiest way.

This update includes important performance improvements to the Lakehouses connector. Be sure to upgrade to the August release of Power BI Desktop and Gateway to experience these improvements.
