INP (Input Delay) is a new metric for measuring the responsiveness of a website. It measures how long it takes for the site to respond to user actions such as clicks, taps, or text input.

INP will replace FID (First Input Delay) as a Core Web Vital metric in March 2024. This means that it will be an important factor in ranking websites on Google.
