Add a custom search form to your WordPress site
Next, give your new search form a name so you can identify it later. This is useful if you decide to create multiple search forms for your website.
Next, choose a layout theme for your search form. Since we are creating a category-based search form, you should select "Search by Category."
Scroll down and you will notice that the "Search kuwait phone number by Category" option is activated. You can also enable Quick Search (which provides search term suggestions) and Advanced Search (which allows users to search using advanced filters).
As for the engine, just select "Default" since that's what we changed previously in step 2.
For results pages, you can choose the default WordPress search results page or create a new page using SearchWP. If you’re interested in the second option, read our guide on how to customize search results pages in WordPress.
Configure search form settings in SearchWP
Next, under "Search type," you can choose the type of content users can find when they use the search engine. If you want the category search form to only show results for blog posts, you can add "Posts".
If you want to include pages and multimedia files, you need to enter "Page" and "Media".
In the "Select Category" field, you can include or exclude any blog post category from the search form drop-down menu.
Below you can edit the placeholder text in the field labels and toggle the search button if needed.

At the bottom, you can change the search form's border, border color, and font, as well as the button's shape, label, background color, and font.
