Mexx is doing pretty well, but like the regulars I am critical. Let's see what we can learn from that email.
The apology email from Mexx had a 10% discount. With the message: “We regret that you were unable to take advantage of our weekend offer.” What was the weekend offer? Was that also 10%? The Mexx discount code must be used on Tuesday. The apology email was sent on Monday afternoon. That is very short if you are trying to make up for something. Anyone who opens the email too late has the so-called double dip : first the site does not work and the weekend offer passes you by and now the (virtual) make-up discount is no longer valid. Sorry for the inconvenience!
