Essbase Strategy & Roadmap
Mike Larimer 's speech , representing Oracle at this first workshop, begins with a quick presentation of his own past with Essbase. It goes back 30 years with its precursor Arbor Software : "multi-dimensional engine with an incredible spreadsheet" [sic – in English in the text].
Essbase has also been our “buddy” for 20 years at Klee : loyal to the post, robust in effort and reliable under constraints.
Still on a humorous note, Mike tells us that the first time he heard that Essbase was dead uae telegram data was when Microsoft released its equivalent , but it is still there, on the front lines...
Arrival of the ASO in 2004.
Oracle purchased Hyperion Solutions in 2007 .
Finally, Essbase does not escape recent practices by being hosted in the Cloud , the latest version being 21c.
