Facebook will no longer have newsletters

In a statement, the company said that “Bulletin has allowed us to learn about the relationship between creators and their audiences and how to better support them in building their community on Facebook.”

In this way, they maintain that although the product will be removed from the platform, they will remain committed to supporting the success and growth of the writers who were part of Bulletin.

CWhat do the Competition say?
Ryan Broderick is the creator of Subtack, Bulletin’s northeast mobile number database main competitor, and last year he argued that “Facebook will stick to its apolitical agenda and build an incredibly boring product that nobody cares about and then quietly kill it.”

Subtack’s creator is confident that several popular celebrities and sports figures like Bari Weiss, Glenn Greenwald, actor Nick Offerman, former NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and others have chosen its platform over Bulletin.

“Bulletin was worth a try, and we’re glad Meta did,” said Hamish McKenzie, co-founder and editor-in-chief of Substack. “If you’re looking for a great home where you have full ownership and complete control of your destiny, then Substack is here for you and we’d love to help you get to the next level,” taking advantage of the moment to offer the platform.
