Another thing that has been neglected over the past two years: regular meetings with people from my network, beyond my closest circle. The list of people I have wanted to visit, meet or invite for a long time is getting longer and longer. I am in regular contact with many of them, at least via digital media and telephone. But there is no substitute for physical encounters. You shouldn't put something like that off for too long!
That's why I've put in my calendar who I want to talk to and when - and of course I hope that those people have time.
… and otherwise?
I am really excited about what this year will bring. Time will tell whether I can realize everything I have planned. A new edition of my book "Web or Die!" is probably due out in the autumn, and in the first quarter linkedin data I have to make a major contribution to another book. Of course, I also have private plans. In 2017, despite a lot of work, I managed quite well to keep most weekends free from work and also go on holidays and short trips. I want to do the same in 2018. I already have a few travel destinations in mind and, who knows, maybe at the end of 2018 I will finally go to the Far East, which has been one of my wishes for a long time. But first of all, the new year has only just begun.
Thank you for reading this far. Thank you for being interested in my plans. I wish you a good start to 2018, lots of luck, success and health.
