Is the mud that bad?

Post by roseline371277 »

News formats, not only on television, have changed a lot over the years. In addition to precise news, studio speakers and factual reports, reporters also wanted and should play an increasingly important visual role.

The fact that US broadcasters such as Fox or taiwan rcs data CNN made this trend possible in the first place has to do with the star status in many countries, which in some cases has to justify the annual million-dollar salaries of TV journalists such as Anderson Cooper or Richard Quest. Stars who in most cases were built up by the broadcasters themselves in order to offer more.

We are not there yet. Even if the SRG correspondents, like their colleagues around the world, are often so overactive in front of the camera that they seem to be part of the story, that does not make them stars.

Not even RTL journalist Susanne Ohlen , who was seen in a flood-ravaged town in Germany, spreading some mud on her T-shirt before filming. This was not only meant to convey a sense of closeness to the topic, but also to tell the victims: I am one of you.
