The End of Photography

Post by roseline371277 »

Spoiler: Don't worry, cameras and wedding photographers aren't going to disappear. But nothing will stay the same and some actors will have to retrain. Or buy a Playstation.

When Photoshop 1.0 came onto the market more than thirty years ago, it was not yet clear where the digitization of photography would lead. The market changed radically, jobs disappeared, new ones emerged and the basics of digital image processing are now common knowledge.

But the change is far from over. AI (artificial china rcs data intelligence) and the metaverse will once again radically transform photography and image creation.

The stock photo agencies that have flourished in recent years and supplied the raw material for communication and advertising for good money will no longer be able to do business with pixel images in a few years. The design programs will soon generate images themselves without having to download pixels. We are not talking about 3D and renderings here, but about intelligent generative processes:

Using deep learning, programs learn what a tree, a face, a car or a hotel room is based on millions of images and can thus statistically create other subjects without the need for a camera, an image database or a 3D artist.
