“WordPress programmer” is a bit of a… strange term, don’t you think? Well, it’s been used a lot to describe this type of job, just like “WordPress developer”.

Because WordPress is one of the most popular platforms in the world, some professionals work exclusively with it.

This is not my case, since I meet many new zealand number dataset types of demands – I am also a web designer and front-end developer , in addition to providing hosting consultancy . But most of my work is in WordPress, so I can label myself as a programmer, developer or WordPress consultant.

If WordPress programming is already done, what does a WordPress programmer do?
Well, a WordPress programmer masters the platform, not just installing WordPress, ready-made templates and plugins.

Those who work with WordPress programming are also responsible for developing themes , plugins, and other resources to customize WP as much as possible ( without changing the “core” of the thing, of course).

Some examples of what a WordPress developer does:

Installation and configuration of WordPress on the server (hosting);
Installation, configuration, customization and theme creation:
Installation, configuration and customization of ready-made themes or
Creation of customized themes according to the client's needs
