Creating procedures
Make sure the following elements are part of your procedure when writing it for your organization.

Document, approve and review procedures
After writing the procedure, the next steps are:

Policy Documentation: Document the purpose, scope, objectives, people and departments responsible for its creation and implementation
Approval: Include the people responsible for approving the policy/procedure with their contact information
Review and update policies: Review policies frequently (once a quarter), update them to adapt to evolving organizational requirements and needs, and communicate changes to departments and stakeholders.
