Peep Laja, conversion optimization expert and founder of CXL, says,Visuals influence split-second purchasing decisions that consumers make without even realizing it.But on the other hand, visuals in emails can become very overwhelming and confusing. The average reader spends a few minutes reading an email and has over ,+ unread emails in their inbox. So it's easy to get into the junk folder. To achieve a balance between content and design, you need to use visual hierarchy.

Some examples of visual hierarchy in email twitter data design include an inverted pyramid that puts the most important message at the top and then ends with a call to action (CTA). Gutenberg diagram, the content is divided into four quadrants. The CTA box is larger and fills a quadrant. This is great for dense content. Z-patterns, based on the paths readers follow as they navigate through a web page. That is, the reader scans the title and then moves sideways down and to the left in a Z-shaped pattern.

You can see that this email is fun to read, the content isn’t overwhelming, and the CTA stands out from the rest of the email.
