Scrum for project management
Did you know that at TIBS we use the SCRUM framework to manage projects?
Author: L. Abygail Yépez, Scrum Master at Tibs.
Scrum is a framework that increases collaboration and homeowner database between teams while minimizing unnecessary work during execution. This is why it is classified as an AGILE way of working.
The roles involved in a SCRUM project are:
Below, I share with you some concepts that are implemented during the SCRUM framework:
• Sprints: These are short periods of time in which the team generates a set amount of work.
• Daily Scrum: These are quick meetings on a daily basis, in which the team stays in communication, checks progress, and establishes the next steps for each team member.
• Retrospectives: These are reflection sessions carried out by the entire team at the end of a sprint, and serve to establish improvements applicable to the next sprint.
Remember, the SCRUM area seeks to facilitate project management with different teams, generating initiatives that allow the values and practices of this framework to be adopted and applied, without leaving aside flexibility and openness to new and better ways of working.
The way of working within all organizations has always sought to obtain greater agility and benefits in their processes. The implementation of operational efficiency within institutions is a great differentiator.
