Sales recorded the worst performance in history
Black Friday 2022 failed to repeat last year's numbers, according to a survey carried out by NielsesIQ in conjunction with BexsBay, total sales were R$3.1 billion, a drop of 28% compared to the previous year.

Smartphones remained in the ranking of the most desired, but the World Cup effect was present: Brazilian team shirts and flags topped the searches, followed by household appliances such as airfryers, refrigerators and televisions, the latter of which have seen a well-known increase in sales due to the World Cup.
