Never before had we received so much commentary in advance. Everyone knew where to find us via comments, emails and tweets. Varying from very positive to very negative. How on earth could we criticize social media?

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ have only brought good to mankind, haven't they? Even on BNR News Radio we were critically questioned about our upcoming research. Of course, there are plenty of positive aspects. After all, we wrote a book about that in 2008. In our opinion, social networks have now matured to such an extent that we can reap the benefits.
