What will you miss?

Post by asimj1 »

I am also proud of what I have achieved being Executive Director of Digital Resources at Jisc since 2015 and the contribution Jisc makes to the UK being one of the most digitally advanced HE, FE and Research nations in the world.

A surprising number of things, really. I’m definitely going to miss working with so many talented and committed people and being part of a larger organisation committed to digital transformation.

It’s also going to be strange to feel a singapore rcs data bit less connected with the pace of change which seems to be ever increasing. Not that I will lose touch completely – I don’t think I ever could. Despite the rain that day, we talked to many people. Adults seemed very surprised by our pollution facts, and appeared to engage enthusiastically with the big map of Sheffield, while children enjoyed touching the lichen samples and making lichen beards! I was able to discuss my use of well-being and pollution data with several groups of people and we had some great exchanges about what data is available, what well-being means, how you measure it and how you connect it to data about the physical environment. I myself developed new understanding about people’s concerns and behaviours regarding air pollution, and the possible pathways in which this may affect their self-reported well-being.
