The journey of entrepreneurship is not always easy, but those who do not give up on following their dreams find promising paths, even in the face of difficulties. Guilherme Vendruscolo, founder of the Cristais Quebra Rocha store, is a living example of this.
From a very young age, he had been questioning whether netherlands number dataset his living from the conventional work model – the much-desired CLT job – was really the only option for his future or whether becoming an entrepreneur was the way that would bring him more personal and professional fulfillment.
The answer? He believed in his potential and turned his life goal into reality by creating his own business in the gemstone market.
And it's not just Guilherme who believes in this direction. In Brazil, entrepreneurship is on the rise and the numbers prove it. According to Sebrae , before the end of 2024, 3.7 million CNPJs (National Registry of Legal Entities) were created in Brazil. The entry of new entrepreneurs into the market is made up of around 3.5 million small businesses, that is, 96% of the total number of new companies opened in the year.

To be a CLT or to be an entrepreneur? That is the question
The question of whether to have a source of income as a CLT professional or to start a business is a more common dilemma than it seems. For Guilherme, this questioning started very early.
He entered the job market at the age of 14, when he delivered newspapers in his hometown, Dionísio Cerqueira, in Santa Catarina. In other words, he already realized the value of having his own money as a teenager. It was the embryo of what was to come and evolved into the search for a source of income that would bring more than money : above all, autonomy.
However, until that day arrived, Guilherme had several jobs that, although they provided him with financial returns, did not meet his long-term ambitions. Among the various areas in which he worked, he worked as a perfume retailer and even as a sushi chef.
But there was always that "flea in his ear", a restlessness that only entrepreneurship could resolve. He knew he wanted more and, to achieve that, he would need to take a risk and follow the bold journey of opening his own business.
