Search advertising

Let's take Yandex, for example. This search optometrist accurate email list engine displays advertisements on two levels. Placement in one block or another depends on the cost of the advertisement. The higher the block, the more expensive it is.

Let's say we are interested in a hair straightener. Then we type this phrase in the search bar and as a result we can see on the page all the online stores selling professional hair care products. And the first three lines will most likely contain the most famous and reliable ones.

We will see the same thing in Google search.

Contextual display advertising
These ads can be seen on partner sites. The ad itself corresponds to the interests of the user or the main topic of the content posted on the site.

There are several varieties of this advertising:

Text advertising – such ads contain the text of the ad and an address line with a link to the product or service page. It is located in the text part of the user's website.

Banner advertising – advertisements in the form of moving or still images on partner sites.

Video advertising is a video clip posted on various websites (YouTube, etc.) with a call to action and a link to the advertised product. The call to action may look like a button with the words “Learn more,” “Buy,” “Learn more,” “Register,” etc.

In-Stream – a short video with advertising material, lasting 15-30 seconds. After watching one third of the advertisement, the user gets the opportunity to skip it, but oddly enough, this format brings advertisers the maximum profit.

The advertiser can choose the method of payment for contextual advertising: either by the number of impressions or by the number of clicks.
