WordPress 6.0 – with improvements to overall site editing

WordPress 6.0 “ Arturo ” is here with many improvements to the overall site editing with blocks that was released in the previous version .

Some of the improvements in the page creation process are aimed at expanding the site editor's capabilities for managing styles and layout, creating variations of the theme's global style, new page templates, a better comments block, and more.

There are also improvements when working with algeria number dataset in the block editor, such as selecting text from multiple blocks, which also allows for easy selection of the blocks themselves, an option to lock blocks, preserving the style when changing the block type, and more.

A new option has been added to the block settings to lock them. When a block is locked, it cannot be moved and/or removed.

Different variations of the global theme style (style switcher)
One of the important improvements in WordPress 6.0 is the ability to switch between different variations of the theme style in the Site Editor . For example, until now we had to change the theme itself if we wanted a different color palette and fonts (or change them manually).

Developers can take advantage of the new functionality and create different variations of the theme style, making it even easier for users to customize the design. For example, a variation in orange tones, where all styles are consistent with this color, or in blue, etc.

With this new feature, you can change the theme style with just a few clicks. It's as if you've changed the theme to another. For example, as in the case of the WordPress photography site , where we used two different themes - one with a light design, the other with a dark one, now instead of two themes, the light and dark styles can be available in a single theme.

This will be extremely convenient, for example when we already like a theme based on its layout, but we want something in its styles to change. This way, we won't have to browse through hundreds of themes, but will have chosen one whose basic design or layout we like.
