Sources of WEB TRAFFIC to get visits

You finally have a website, or a blog, or a website with a blog built in. Congratulations! Sorry for asking, but what now? How? You hadn't thought of anything? I guess you'll just sit back and wait for the visitors to come. Sorry to disappoint you, but it doesn't work like that. Usually you have to do something to get visitors. Don't worry, I'm going to show you the main sources of web traffic and which ones you should direct your efforts towards depending on what you're looking for with your Internet presence.
Sources of web traffic on the Internet
Internet Ads
Basically I am referring to two types of ads:
Paid searches on Google
You pay for your ad to appear among the results facebook database by Google when searching for a certain keyword (for example, “second-hand cars”). To do this, you can use Google AdWords, a tool provided by Google itself.
Banners on other websites
You are usually charged per click – for each person who clicks on the ad – or per number of impressions – for each person who sees the ad.
You may be interested if you have an online store or want to use the Internet to sell something and have the budget to spend on advertising.
Organic searches
The traditional Internet search. When an Internet user searches for something on Google and is presented with a list of results ordered by importance (if we do not take into account sponsored or paid results), that is an organic search. SEO consists of optimizing a website so that its pages appear at the top of the search engine results lists when searching for certain keywords.
You are interested in whether the topic of your website or blog has a good volume of monthly searches. For example, if you have a website about tips, tricks and Android applications, you are very interested in doing good SEO. On the other hand, if you have a blog about Japanese poetry from the 15th century, you will understand that few people search on Google for something that has to do with what you write (with all due respect to Japanese poetry from the 15th century). In that case, few visits will come to you through search engines (although SEO optimization is something that should always be done because it does not cost that much and you never know if something will increase its search volume on the Internet. Imagine that Japanese poetry from the 15th century suddenly becomes fashionable and “Japanese poetry 15th century” starts to have 500 monthly searches).
