Facebook has just launched its app center . It works very similarly to the typical app stores for iPhone, iPad or Android, and the client can install free or paid applications on their profile.
The applications are classified, for now, into games, entertainment, Facebook, lifestyle, music, news, photos and video, sports, travel & local and software tools. It also includes the most recommended ones, the most downloaded korea telegram data ones, etc. and has a specific section for the web and another for mobile.
The app center works like a traditional app store, allowing users to download apps but also develop their own and put them up for sale. It already has almost a thousand apps from companies like Ubisoft, EA and Zynga. Pinterest is currently the most downloaded app.
Following in the footsteps of Facebook, Twitter is investigating the creation of special pages for companies and brands like those already existing on Facebook, offering them new utilities that do not yet exist in their profile page option. In return, this option would generate new income for Twitter, a company that is still trying to become profitable after 5 years of existence.
The current Twitter profile offers few possibilities for customization or functionality if you compare it with Facebook or Buzz.
Twitter has not confirmed this option and calls it a rumor, but they do not deny it and admit the great interest aroused by companies to promote this route. In short, a trial balloon that will come to fruition.
