On our Facebook page we have created a tab where interested parties can sign up for our newsletter. This way we increase our reach in collecting e-mail addresses and we give our visitors the choice whether and via which channel (Facebook like , e-mail address or both) they can be approached by us in the future. Like us or sign up for our newsletter in the meantime while you are on our Facebook page
.
What we are still working on is to emphasize the added value of our communication via e-mail and Facebook, so that visitors can make a well-considered choice between the channels or to motivate them to receive senegal phone number list communication from us via both channels.
In our opinion, email marketing and Facebook offer new possibilities that support each other for the time being. Via Facebook you can collect new email addresses and communicate much more directly/action-oriented, but via email marketing you can attract people to your Facebook page and 'activate' them in this way. Facebook Messages may take over a small part of B2C email marketing, but especially in the B2B sector email marketing will remain the more important channel. In the Netherlands, Facebook is mainly used for private purposes and people generally want to keep business and private separate. For example, just look at the ratios between Facebook likes and the number of Tweets of the articles on Frankwatching, then the Tweets are often up to 10 times as many as the likes .
What do you think? Will Facebook Messages become a threat to email marketing?
