Admittedly, I often find it difficult to understand how naively Zuckerberg & Co. handle the world's most valuable social media platform in terms of brand strategy, or how one-sidedly they have decided in favor of profit. But in my opinion, they have done something right for once with the rebranding of the company. Not only the name, but also the logo fulfill the function of an umbrella brand: iconic, but still reserved, so that the strong performance brands such as Facebook and WhatsApp remain in the foreground and future brands can easily join in.
