Post by ishanijerin1 »

Abrapp CEO Devanir Silva held a meeting with representatives of the Women's Caucus and the Parliamentary Front for Women Entrepreneurs to discuss projects to expand the coverage of Supplementary Pensions. Alongside General Superintendent Eduardo Lamers and Parliamentary Advisor Tarciana Xavier, the CEO spoke with Bia Nóbrega, Partner at Capital Bridges and Advisor to the Women's Caucus and the Parliamentary Front.

“It was a very productive meeting in which we discussed two proposals. The first aims to provide access to pension savings for women entrepreneurs. We intend to use a project designed by Abrapp on micropensions. The second is a housing pension project using a cashback mechanism,” explains Devanir Silva.

The CEO of Abrapp explains that both projects are linked to the propositional bias of greater social security inclusion. “There is a very large contingent of the population that does not have access canadian cto cio email database to Supplementary Social Security coverage in Brazil. Through both mechanisms, we will have the possibility of expanding coverage and this is in line with Abrapp’s strategic actions. It is time to speak out and seek new participants,” says Devanir.

Eduardo Lamers reinforces the importance of projects aimed at women. “They are closely linked to the strategic axis of expanding the coverage of Supplementary Pensions. Abrapp will continue to participate in making their implementation possible,” he comments.

He explains that Abrapp must draft and submit a proposal on micropensions to be included in a bill that is being discussed in the Chamber of Deputies. The second bill on housing finance linked to the formation of pension savings to be used as collateral is still in its embryonic phase. However, Abrapp intends to continue monitoring and discussing its formulation and presentation in the National Congress.
